100th Post Extravaganza

Wow, it’s been a month, my bad. I did notice that this is my 100th post though, so that’s something to celebrate. Anyway, life has been good, I’ll cover some old news first.
-I’m very happy with the Randy Shannon hire at UM. Even though he’s a defensive guy I’m confident that he’s more motivated than anyone else to get the offense straightened out considering the amount of games that his defenses played great only to have offense loose the game for us.
-Rocky Balboa, great film. It’s possibly the best of all the sequels, I’ll have to watch it a few dozen times on DVD before I know for sure. If you haven’t seen it yet, do so.

Also I’ve found a couple bizarre/stupid stories from 2 of my favorite southern towns lately.
-From Decatur, Alabama here’s the tale of a man who brought his marijuana to court with him. http://www.decaturdaily.com/decaturdaily/news/070113/pot.shtml
-From Murfreesboro, Tennessee you can read about a guy who’s really attached to his cats. http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2007/0105073cats1.html

And lastly, I must tell you about the most interesting Christmas card I got this year. It came from the man pictured below.
That’s right, thanks to my purchase of an Ultimate Warrior beanie cap from his website I was the lucky recipient of a handwritten card from Warrior stating the following;
“Adam-
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! It is not a custom of mine to “wish” or “hope,” but my affirmation for you is that you will enlarge your belief in the potential you r life holds! We are all created to do something unique with our lives. The most powerful thing you can do is BELIEVE this every single moment! I will be thinking positively for you that you do!
Always Believe!
Warrior
X-mas 2006”
